Apple Park, New Spaceship Campus headquarters in Cupertino, California.
Apple park has took eight years to complete, but now employing 12000, which will take 6 months to get employees in and will finish completely at the end of 2017.
The new mile round campus 2 is officially named Apple Park. Before this was announced, the building was known as the ‘Spaceship Campus’ because of its flying-saucer look of design.
Apple Park will also include a visitors center with an Apple Store and cafe open to the public, a 100,000-square-foot fitness center for Apple employees, secure research and development facilities and the Steve Jobs Theater in honor of him.
It has 9000 parking spaces with a underground and above car park, tiled tunnel which is 755 ft leading to the campus and shock absorbers to with stand earthquakes.
The park lands offer two miles of walking and running paths for employees, plus an orchard, meadow and pond within the ring’s interior grounds.
It is rumored that it has cost $5 billion dollars, with the cost of the land being $ 160 Million.
Apple has gone green at this complex also, whilst planting almost 9000 trees and all buildings will run on solar and sustainable energy.
